- was established by two friends who love wine making and truly enjoy full-bodied red wines. Our home wine making hobby led to several Gold Medals in the California State Fair, at which point we became a bonded boutique winery in serene Carmichael, Ca.

Our wine making process is hands on from start to finish. From personally selecting only the best quality grapes for crushing, to extensive testing and blending trials, our obsession for creating superb red wines is never ending. Our grapes are sourced from smaller, premium vineyards in the Napa and Alexander Valleys, as well as two mountainside vineyards in Hopland and Santa Lucia. We attend the harvesting and participate in the destemming-crushing of the grapes. After crushing we typically cold soak the grapes for 2-4 days before starting the fermentation, which helps to release additional color and flavors. We extend our fermentation time to provide more depth of character from each wine.

Our wine making reflects our personal preferences of seeking the true characteristics from each varietal and the vineyard area. To achieve this we are gentle with the wine making process. Our wines are unfiltered, unrefined and sulfur is added at a minimal level to not inhibit the flavors. The oak employed is typically 25% new and 75% neutral to enhance the flavor but not overpower the wine characteristics.
